Following a fantastic sell out year in 2024, with 100 teams from all over the UK participating, we're delighted to announce that the Rhinos Challenge Netball Weekender will return to Butlins Skegness in 2025!
Butlin’s Skegness is booked exclusively on 16-19 May 2025 to host the Rhinos Challenge. Join us on tour for the ultimate weekend of Netball & Fun and make 2025 a year your girls will never forget!
Demand for 2025 is expected to be high, so early registration is strongly recommended.

Butlin’s Splash Waterworld has flumes, rides and rapids galore, your girls are going to love it! The on-site Funfair with free rides is another firm favourite and features some exciting new rides. For extra thrills, you can pay a small charge for activities like Go Karts, Adventure Golf and Ten Pin Bowling.
When the evening comes around, there’s a great variety of live shows, tribute acts, live bands and discos, so your party will enjoy an amazing family entertainment programme, at no extra cost.

Each team gets their moment of glory when they are invited onto the main stage to meet our special guest. Every child will receive a quality medal as a memento of the Rhinos Challenge and there are also superb individual and team awards presented in each age section, including Magic Moment awards.
After the Netball finishes, the fun continues at Butlin's Skegness! There's a fantastic range of facilities and entertainment on resort for everyone to enjoy.

With dramatic sound and lighting effects, our spectacular presentation ceremonies are a tour highlight for many of our teams. It's the perfect way to close the festival in style!
Every child receives a quality medal as a memento of Rhinos Challenge. In addition, there are superb individual and team awards presented in each age section.
There’s nothing better than being away on tour with your teammates. The memories made can last a lifetime and there's no better way of building camaraderie and bonding within a club.
Your team will feel like they’re in the Vitality Superleague with live fixture & result updates and tour info in the Rhinos Challenge App.
Friday: No Netball is played on the day of arrival, so teams can relax and get settled into accommodation and enjoy the evening’s entertainment. Check in for accommodation is from 4pm, but you can arrive on resort from 1pm. A briefing meeting for Group Leaders & Coaches will take place on Friday evening.
Saturday & Sunday: There’s an electric atmosphere around the courts as the action starts! All teams will play fixtures on both the Saturday and Sunday. The festival format will depend on the number of teams registered in each age group, but all teams should expect to play 6 – 8 games over the weekend. The Rhinos Challenge presentation ceremonies will take place on the Sunday afternoon/evening.
Monday: No Netball is played on the Monday. Teams therefore have the option of travelling home on the Sunday evening or Monday. Check Out is 10am on Monday but you do not have to leave the resort until Midday.

A final briefing email will be sent to the Group Leaders of all participating teams 7-10 days before the festival takes place. The final briefing will include the festival format, festival rules and venue information. At that stage, the Rhinos Challenge APP will also go live, displaying festival fixtures, schedules and other useful information.
Each guest who has booked accommodation through ESF Events at Butlin’s will receive a Rhinos Challenge wristband when they check in at Butlin’s. The Rhinos Challenge wristband is required to attend the playing venues as a player, club official or spectator, attend the presentation ceremony at Butlin’s, and enter evening entertainment venues at Butlin’s.
Event wristbands are not available to purchase separately. If you are not booked through ESF Events at Butlin’s, you are not part of the event and do not have permission to attend the event.
IMPORTANT: Accommodation for your whole group, including players, club officials and families/spectators, must be booked through ESF Events at Butlin’s. If members of your group (players, club officials, families/spectators) attend the event but have not booked accommodation through ESF Events at Butlin’s, the team will not be permitted to participate in the Rhinos Challenge.
